Composed by Robin Gibb and RJ Gibb and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on 10 April 2012, «The Titanic Requiem» commemorates the tragic sinking of the Titanic 100 years ago.
On 15 April 1912 the Titanic sank in the North Atlantic and over 1,500 people died. 100 years later, Robin Gibb and his son RJ, commemorate this disastrous voyage and catastrophic loss of life with the release of «The Titanic Requiem». The world premiere concert of this modern classical work at Central Hall, Westminster, will be performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra plus the RSVP Voices, a choir of 45 voices, forming an immersive concert experience featuring groundbreaking holographic projections created by Giuseppe Raffa.
Joining on stage will be Welsh singer Aled Jones performing «Daybreak» and British choirgirl Isabel Suckling who will perform «Christmas Day».
